Think Twice, Vote Once

The Board is conducting its, Think Twice, Vote Once – Decision 2014 campaign throughout this provincial and municipal election year to focus the attention of parties and candidates on the priorities that matter most to the prosperity and competitiveness of our city region: job creation, infrastructure funding, transportation and closing the prosperity gap.

Let's Break the Gridlock

Congestion in the Toronto region is now a fact of life. It is changing how we live our lives. aims to empower the public to give politicians the green light to get traffic moving again, by advancing revenue tools for The Big Move.

Vote Ontario 2011

VoteOntario2011 put regional economic success at the forefront of the 2011 Ontario election. The Board led a conversation between our Members and the broader public about the best paths to achieve renewed economic growth.

Vote Toronto 2010

VoteToronto2010 ignited discussion and encouraged debate on crucial issues leading up to the 2010 civic election. Our campaign focused on four themes that our Members believed would define the future of the Toronto region:
  1. Fixing the City of Toronto’s finances;
  2. Growing the regional economy;
  3. Promoting social cohesion and economic inclusion;
  4. Improving civic democracy

Enough of Not Enough

In 2004, the Board launched our Enough of Not Enough campaign to remind governments we contributed $9 billion more in taxes than we received in benefits and services. The time had come to invest in our city’s future.


A dynamic voice of action and progress

To successfully build a globally competitive city region, we need decisive action and many people speaking with one voice to achieve our shared goals. Through our advocacy campaigns, the Board presents bold ideas and builds a broad, dynamic coalition that includes, the business community, educational institutions, labour and the not for profit sector to speak out and take action on issues affecting our city region. Become a Member and join us in advancing the Toronto region.
