Join Mayor John Tory and Saad Rafi, Toronto’s Chief Recovery and Rebuild Officer, as they share an update on the City’s recovery priorities and what the next few months will look like for businesses and employees in Toronto.

The City established the Office of Recovery and Rebuild, led by Mr. Rafi, to help the Toronto during its rebuilding and reopening phase. The work being done through this office is in collaboration with residents, businesses and public health experts, and will ensure that Toronto reopens in a safe and resilient manner.

Leading the new office, Mr. Rafi has experience in both the public and private sectors, including as Deputy Minister of Public Safety and Policing Services during the SARS pandemic and Toronto’s 2009 blackout, as well as Deputy Minister of Energy and Infrastructure during the last recession.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to directly ask questions about economic recovery and city rebuilding to two people responsible for leading our city’s efforts in recovering post-pandemic.
