Delos, a global leader in health and wellness within the built environment, is committed to working with governments and the private sector to implement advanced air purification solutions to help establish indoor air quality standards for the 21st century.

Attend our workshop on November 17 for a discussion with Dr. Jie Zhao, Head of Delos Labs at Delos, and Evan Bauer, Senior Director, Delos Solutions at Delos on how to prepare your business for reopening with confidence and why improvements in indoor air quality are becoming the next health revolution of the 21st century.

Did you know that globally, air pollution is estimated to contribute to nearly 6.7 million deaths per year, making it the fourth largest risk factor for mortality? The Government of Canada estimates that air pollution from fine particulate matter, nitrogen dioxide and ozone contributes to 15,300 premature annual deaths, with a total economic cost of $120 billion per year.

Mounting scientific evidence has shown linkages between indoor air quality and cognitive performance, as well as cardiovascular, respiratory and immune diseases. The key question now is how can indoor air quality be effectively and practically improved? Air purification – one of the main ways for improving indoor air quality continues to be top of mind, not only in response to the pandemic but also as part of a greater recognition of the importance of maintaining good indoor air quality for overall health, well-being and productivity.

With millions of air purification products available on the market today, consumers can easily get lost when trying to decide what to choose. In this workshop, Dr. Jie Zhao will help to separate the myths from the facts when it comes to air purification technologies and discuss what government organizations and businesses should be considering when it comes to indoor air quality.
