Partnership to Advance Youth Employment (PAYE), is an initiative between private employers and the City of Toronto designed to boost the economic opportunities for Toronto's youth.

The City of Toronto identified 13 priority areas where there are fewer opportunities for youth and these areas are in need of economic development.  PAYE focuses on youth that reside in these areas.

Toronto Board of Trade believes that this is an important step towards improving the economic vitality of our city.  We are proud to support and promote this initiative by encouraging our members and all Toronto area businesses to step up and open the door for Toronto's youth.

There are over two dozen well-known Toronto-based local and national businesses that are dedicated to helping PAYE assist Toronto youth - one job at a time.

The goal of PAYE is to offer youth individual support, guidance and guaranteed interviews with top quality employers to help level the playing field and to offer youth from disadvantaged communities a foot in the door.

To get involved and find out more about how Toronto businesses are participating in PAYE go to the website www.torontopaye.ca and see what PAYE is planning for 2008.
