Committee Objectives
The Talent Ecosystem Committee addresses the workforce challenges shaping the region’s labour market and the ability of employers to grow. By bringing together leaders from business, education, and policy, members guide the Board’s work to attract and retain top talent, support workforce participation, and help employers access the skills they need.
How We'll Get There
- Support initiatives that narrow the skills gap and build a stronger talent pipeline across the Toronto region.
- Champion workplace and public policies that strengthen and empower the workforce while boosting business competitiveness.
- Identify regional data and information gaps that must be addressed to support more effective workforce development efforts.
- Monitor emerging challenges and opportunities across the talent and immigration ecosystem to inform policy and program development.
