Policy Committees

The Board’s policy and advocacy activities are driven by our Policy Pillar Committees, which are comprised of dedicated members who volunteer their time and are passionate about continually improving the Toronto region’s performance.

Policy & Advocacy Committee
Oversees and coordinates the activities of the Board’s Policy Pillar Committees. This committee provides strategic direction for all Board of Trade policy and advocacy initiatives.

Economic Development Committee
This committee is charged with identifying public policy initiatives that encourage economic growth and increase community development.

Infrastructure Committee
With a mandate to advocate for a strong infrastructure foundation for the region, this committe focuses on stable and sufficient funding that ensures the proper maintenance and efficient operations of existing infrastructure.

This committee's mandate is to ensure that local governments are effectively enhancing the global competitiveness, economic growth and prosperity of the Toronto region.
